About us
UK Pigeon couriers are a dedicated courier company, formed solely for the repatriation of stray pigeons to their owners, and for the movement of stock pigeons between pigeon studs and fanciers.
Created to fill a hole in the market due to the demise of the main pigeon courier service in September 2008, a service tailor made to suit the pigeon fraternity was created with:
- Experienced and dedicated drivers, with a sound knowledge of handling pigeons.
- Excellent communications between, the customer, the company and the drivers.
- Vehicles that were fit for purpose, ensuring the birds safety at all times.
The head of the company is a third generation fancier, born into the sport of pigeon racing over fifty years ago. With a past business in both local multi drop delivery services for a national carrier company, and having operated throughout the country for an independent same day and overnight delivery company, he has sucessfully launched the new service in January 2009.
With a Type 2 Animal transportation certificate and based in South Cheshire, we are in an ideal location with good motorway links to operate efficiently throughout mainland UK.
